Are these the full size original games?

Yes, every game at the show will be original, coin-operated machines just like you remember from the arcades of your youth.  We will have a mix of video games and pinball machines from different eras, as well as console gaming exhibits and board gaming. This variety will ensure that there is something there to appeal to everyone.

How do I get tickets?

 

You can purchase tickets in advance from our webstore on the day of the show.  Act now! We are offering deep discount for advance tickets if you buy before Christmas day. 

Is the event family friendly?  ​

 

Yes, the show is open to everyone and the intent is to provide kids who have never experienced a classic arcade the opportunity to come out and play some of these great games.  However, we do ask for children under 12 to be supervised by an adult at all times.

Do the games cost anything to play?

​

No quarters are required!  All games are set to free play so all you need is a ticket to the show.

Once I enter the show, can I leave and come back?

​

Yes, your ticket gives you unlimited access to the show for the day or weekend (depending on which ticket you purchase.)  Depending on your ticket type you will receive either a wrist band or lanyard that will give you access to the show.​

Will there be games for sale at the show?

​

RetroJAX Weekend is run and supported by hobbyists and collectors so almost all of the games will be privately owned.  Typically, some vendors and exhibitors will  bring games to sell and if they do those games will have a sign with the owner's contact information and asking price.  

Can I volunteer/bring a game/sponsor the show?

We are always looking for help.  If you would like to volunteer during the event, bring a game, or sponsor the show please contact the show organizers via our Contact page. 

Do I have to pay for parking?

​

No. Parking at the Morocco Shrine Auditorium is free. 

I'm coming from out of town.  Can you recommend a hotel?

​

​We have a partner hotel about a mile from the show in the St. Johns Town Center.  You can’t get the rate by booking online and will need to call the hotel directly (904.641.7988) to make a reservation and let them know you are calling for the Jax Arcade Group Block.
